Your GoDaddy merchant account: what to do where
What to do in Crown Connect and what to do in your GoDaddy merchant account
Your practice takes card payments through a GoDaddy merchant account. Crown Connect is where you take and manage patient payments. Your GoDaddy merchant account is where you see deposits, run reports and manage your merchant account. This article shows where to go for each.
Sign in to your merchant account
Go to commerce.godaddy.com and sign in with your GoDaddy account. This is where you see payouts, transactions and reports for your merchant account.
What to do in Crown Connect
- Take terminal and virtual terminal payments. See Take a payment on your GoDaddy Poynt terminal and Take a virtual terminal payment.
- Send payment requests, and set up payment plans and memberships.
- Void or refund payments taken through Crown, so the change is recorded on the patient's account. See How to Void/Refund a Payment in Crown.
- Choose how terminal receipts are sent. See Choose how terminal receipts are sent.
What to do in your GoDaddy merchant account

Good to know
- Void and refund payments taken through Crown in Crown, not in your GoDaddy merchant account, so the patient's account and your practice-management system stay in sync.
- Crown supports one partial refund per payment. To issue more than one partial refund on the same payment, refund it in your GoDaddy merchant account. Crown picks up the refund and shows it on the payment in Crown.
- Payments taken directly on the terminal, instead of being sent from Crown, show in Crown as unassociated. See Match a terminal payment to a patient.
- For help with Crown, use the chat in Crown Connect.
